Manor House
Barton's consists of a manor house, the redesigned Barton's Fine Dining Restaurant. It is magnificently appointed and provides the most stupendous views imaginable.
The fully grassed grounds are large enough for a bit of golf chipping and even the friendly touch rugby game. There is a fully enclosed play area with every conceivable structure to delight the children. Being enclosed, the children cannot wander off.There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a huge kitchen. The living area consists of a teak bar with bar fridges which would equal any restaurant bar. The rest of the area consists of a lounge with a 54" flat screen TV including DSTV and HD. The living area has 2 sleeper couches, comfortable sitting room and small reading area. Large verandah's surround the manor, the front overlooking the Hekpoortspruit and fronted by a high cliff which is lit by the flood lights at night when baboons bark from the ridges. A bird variety matching anything in Gauteng is available for the avid bird watcher. A pool is available (with parental supervision) and parents can relax whilst the children are occupied. The venue is ideal for large families or two families, or even for a small private party - guests are welcome to bring up to 2 caravans or 2 tents at nominal cost. The venue is self catering but assistance and advice is available in regard to catering. Rose Cottage Rose Cottage is ideal for 2 people. It is fully equipped and also has it own braai area. It is tastefully appointed with its own little kitchen and lounge with DSTV. The panoramic views in a safe environment make it a romantic getaway for two. Barton's is situated between the mountains surrounded by bush and forested areas but close enough to reach paradise a mere 60km from Johannesburg. Accommodation is available on a nightly basis but parties wishing to stay over during the week will be surprised by our low week rates.
